With a new suite of technology products, a less-than-impressive budget, and a very ambitious timeline, General Motors needed a launch campaign. We had budget for one shoot, a single cast, and needed to create flexible content for four very different vehicle brands (GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Chevy). The result: 3 day-in-the-life videos x 4 brands + 5 educational how-to videos x 4 brands, for a grand total of 32 unique pieces of video. And one very large headache.
As you can see below, each vehicle shot had to be captured 4 times. Or more accurately, ~40 times, to get it just right for Cadillac, GMC, Chevy and Buick.
In case you weren’t paying attention, all vehicle shots needed to be uniquely captured for each of the four different GM vehicles.
